BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:

​

• let us know of any medications or topicals you are using, including but not limited to Accutane, Renova, Retin A, Hydroquinone/Tretinoin, Glycolic acid, Alpha hydroxy, Benzoic acids, or Salicylic acids 

• ensure your hair is 1/8 to 1/4 inch long

• please arrive clean and freshly showered for your body hair removal treatment, and please refrain from using body lotions or creams as oily skin and Nufree do not mix

• avoid drinking alcohol (and other stimulants such as caffeine) prior to your visit and know that getting waxed during your menstral cycle can make you more sensitive

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT / BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS:

• dry brush or use exfoliating hand mitts to reduce the chance of ingrown hairs

• do not exfoliate the day of the treatment as this may make your skin sensitive to wax

• You can tan, swim, and apply make-up immediately after.  No need to wait 24 hours!

• Use finipil daily.  finipil is an antiseptic that prevents ingrown hairs, protects the empty follicle and slows hair growth  

• don’t shave - this reverses the benefits of waxing and can cause ingrown hair

• keep your skin healthy and hydrated by drinking lots of water (to hydrate from the inside out) and applying hydrating lotions
